What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Lifeguard, Part-Time - Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board position at Minnesota City Jobs?
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) seasonal Head Lifeguards provide support for the lifeguards in day-to-day operations. The Head Lifeguard is a mix of traveling lifeguard, program and staff lead. The Head Lifeguard will provide assistance where needed and be a liaison to management. The Head Lifeguard should exemplify responsibility, leadership, friendly public relations/ customer service, and be a voice for the Lifeguard and Attendant staff.
This position works 32-40 hours per week, part- time. Varied working hours including 5:30am-9:30pm, Monday-Sunday.
Programs and facilities operate routinely daily from 10:30am-8:30pm.
Must be able to meet work schedule and in-service training attendance standards (May through August).
Need to Have:
Supervisory or leadership experience.
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard/ First Aid/ CPR/ AED Certification.
Salary : $20 - $22
