The Facilities Electrician is responsible for Electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for commercial/industrial, and municipal applications.
Scope of Impact: The duties and responsibilities of this job are performed with latitude for independent judgment in accordance with department and City policies, Federal, State, and local regulations and are based on detailed knowledge of department operations. Work is subject to periodic review by the supervisor, who provides input on and approval of recommendations, and discusses assignments, priorities, and work. The Facilities Electrician oversees maintenance and repairs of City owned facilities, utilities, streetlights, and traffic signals.
The posted wage reflects the 2027 pay rate. Anticipated Hiring Timeline: First-Round Interviews: November 16, 2026 Final Interviews: December 1, 2026 Anticipated Start Date: January 2027
