What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Finance Clerk - Long Prairie position at Minnesota City Jobs?
The Account Finance Clerk is to perform maintenance of official city records, public documents, election administration, preparation of meeting minutes, custody and disbursement of public funds. Banyon is a plus, preparing monthly financial reconciliation, assisting in financial management of city funds, budget and audit. Minimum: Associate’s Degree in Accounting and or Finance and two years of general ledger accounting or bookkeeping experience or related field and two to five years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree. Benefits: Seven-step wage scale $30.62 to $38.62, currently pending ratification of union contract wage will increase, yearly COALA. Single health and dental insurance are paid entirely; family coverage is supplemented by city.
