Pay: $48-$55/hr

Our current hygienist is laser certified and uses our diode laser, and we plan to provide that same training opportunity for future hygienists joining our team.

We also emphasize the relationship between oral and systemic health. As a hygienist in our office, you’ll be a valued partner in helping patients understand that connection and take an active role in their health.

An Investment in Your Future

Currently in dental hygiene school? We’re developing a tuition reimbursement incentive for students who join our team after graduation. Our goal is to help ease the cost of your education while supporting a rewarding start to your career at Minneota Family Dental.

Interested applicants are welcome to ask about the proposed program. Participation would be subject to eligibility requirements and a written agreement, including reimbursement limits and a required period of employment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental examinations to identify oral health issues
• Provide dental hygiene treatments, including dental prophy, fluoride, and periodontal treatment as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, periodontal health, preventive care, and other treatment recommendations
• Capture high-quality digital radiographs
• Review and update medical records accurately using electronic dental software (experience with Open Dental appreciated but not required)
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Schedule

• 3-4.5 days a week (flexible options)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Minnesota.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
