JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Administrative Assistant works in a fast-paced environment requiring dynamic adaptation to changing demands and duties. As such, the position requires a team-oriented and flexible individual with a “can-do” attitude. This position requires strong communication, customer service, and data collection skills along with an attentiveness to the confidentiality required for some of the work. Strong technology skills are required. Experience working with Inifinite Visions (accounting software), Rediker/Admin Plus (student management software) and the Google Suite of tools is a necessary part of the position. This position is primarily to support operations in the Main Office of the Minnechaug Regional High School (e.g., assist with attendance, absence and tardy tracking; entering information into the student information system; generate lists and rosters, supervise students sent to the office, etc.). However, the ever-changing needs of the school environment demand the person in this position learn other clerical positions’ duties to assist and support the timely completion of work activities on an as-needed basis. Additionally, this position is required to perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.
