What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Minneapolis Golf Club?
As a Server at Minneapolis Golf Club, you will be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to our valued members and their guests in accordance with our continued efforts to deliver outstanding service.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest of standards:
What you'll do for us:
- Respond to members and their guests in a timely, efficient and professional manner
- Maintain exemplary knowledge of restaurant menus, as well as changing promotions and specials
- Take Member/Guest food and beverage orders, and input orders into our POS system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Replenish beverages, clear plates, reset tables, and ensure Member/Guest satisfaction throughout service
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Federal, State, Local and Club regulations
- Communicate with Management and Kitchen staff to ensure prompt and efficient service
- Stock glasses, silverware, and related supplies, and completes other duties as assigned

- You have consistent availability to work 2-3 serving shifts per week
- You are ok working weekday evenings and weekends
- You are friendly and personable
- You have a willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- You conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- You have a passion for performing your duties to the best of your abilities, and you're able to adapt and improve where necessary
- You have a passion for food and/or beverage, and are willing to expand your horizons and take on new challenges within the industry
- You have the ability to think on your feet and make decisions when needed
- You have the ability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
