What are the responsibilities and job description for the Miller for Night Shift position at Minn-Dak Ag LLC?
Minn-Dak is searching for candidates for immediate openings for mill operator in Grand Forks, ND. Mill operators are responsible for assisting the senior management with daily operations of mill and bagging production to meet schedules. This is a night time position from 3 pm to 3 am starting Monday’s – Friday mornings. You work 4 twelve hour shifts.
Responsibilities for mill operator jobs include:
- Operate and maintain the production line equipment that consists for the day to day milling operations
- Perform duties assigned to maintain that the mill on schedule
- Bagging of 25 to 50 pound bags of product if needed
- Maintain warehouse to ensure production is done and together.
- Monitor site to keep an accurate and up-to-date status of bins levels, production per HR & bag count
- Maintain highest possible sanitation level daily.
- High School Diploma / GED
- One year experience in the milling or grain elevator processing - similar position or 1 year with sufficient experience as production lead.
- Ability to use critical thinking to plan and problem-solve.
- Must have the ability to read / write.
- Able to work in areas that are not heated or air conditioned.
- Able to work in dusty conditions/grain dust.
- Able to climb stairways and ladders
- Must be able to work with others
- Able to do frequent Lifting, Bending, Stooping, Twisting, and Repetitive arm usage. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
