What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon position at Minivasive Pain & Orthopedics?
Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon to join our South Houston locations. As an Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, with a focus on all extremities such as total knees, hips, shoulders, hands, feet, and general extremity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical procedures to repair injuries and correct deformities in the extremities
- Evaluate patients to determine the best course of treatment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients such as Interventional Pain Management Physicians, Orthopedic Extremity and Spine Surgeons
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Surgical assist guaranteed
- Support staff available including NP/PA's, MA's, and scribe team
- We are an outpatient clinic with ambulatory surgical centers nearby
- No call Schedules
- High volume of referrals per month
- Travels as necessary to other facilities between Channelview and Webster locations.
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in extremity surgery preferred
- Valid Texas state medical license
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Working Schedule Monday - Friday
