Mechanical Assembly Technician

MiniTec Automation is an integrator of the MiniTec modular system, with its proven, versatile components for automation engineering. The primary focus is to support the manufacturing industry with state of the art tools for production such as machine guarding, conveyors, enclosures, etc. Our engineers design custom projects to meet our customers needs.

About the Opportunity:

• Manufacture specialized equipment using pre-engineered aluminum profile and industrial controls and components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and other specifications through interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Proficiently assemble, fit and install pre-fabricated parts and sub-assemblies to form completed systems (including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic).
• Lead/assist in trouble shooting of job tasks and projects.
• Proceed through levels of expertise and knowledge of modular aluminum technology manufacturing processes.

Skills & Traits:

• Ability to follow instructions to build various types of assembly projects using MiniTec products.
• Ability to assist in diagnosing, communicating, and resolving build assembly project deficiencies and problems.
• Print reading skills include ability to interpret print specifications such as material, dimensions, tolerances, notes, multiple part views, etc.
• Ability to select and use the appropriate tools needed to perform various types of work tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization, with employees at all levels

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
