About The Role
MiniMed is seeking an experienced Principal Manufacturing Engineer to drive business growth and support for Diabetes products and services. This individual will design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. This role requires you to work on-site at our Northridge, CA

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$118,400.00 - $177,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).

- Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication
- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their effi
ciencies to ensure product quality
- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
