About The Role

We are seeking an Engagement Manager to join the Transformation Office and lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives that improve how MiniMed operates. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, analytics, and change management.
The Transformation Office plays a key role in helping MiniMed execute major priorities with speed, rigor, and transparency. This Engagement Manager will help convert strategic intent into operational results by leading initiatives that matter to business performance, organizational readiness, and long-term scale.
The Engagement Manager will help shape and drive initiatives across areas such as commercial transformation, separation readiness, operating model improvement, AI-enabled workflow redesign, and business process simplification. This role is designed for a strategy-and-execution leader who can structure ambiguous problems, align stakeholders, and drive execution to measurable business impact. The ideal candidate brings a management consulting mindset and is equally comfortable building the storyline, pressure-testing the analysis, and pushing work through to results.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, action-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. They should be able to move fluidly between executive-level problem solving and day-to-day execution management and be comfortable making sound recommendations even when data is incomplete, directional, or evolving.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$136,000.00 - $230,000.00
For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $150,000 - $256,000 USD.
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).

Transformation leadership
- Lead high-priority transformation initiatives from problem definition through execution and value realization
- Translate strategic priorities into clear workplans, milestones, decision points, risk mitigation plans, and success measures
- Partner with business and functional leaders to identify opportunities to improve performance, accelerate execution, and remove operational friction
- Support the Transformation Office in driving execution against the company’s most critical priorities
- Build and manage cross-functional operating cadences to track progress, manage dependencies, escalate risks, and maintain accountability
- Drive disciplined execution across multiple workstreams in a fast-moving, matrixed environment
- Prepare concise, executive-ready updates that clearly communicate status, issues, tradeoffs, and actions needed
- Help ensure transformation initiatives move from idea to implementation with clear ownership and follow-through
- Structure ambiguous business problems, identify root causes, and develop practical recommendations grounded in data and business context
- Evaluate opportunities through a lens of value, feasibility, speed, and organizational impact
- Define and track KPIs, milestones, adoption indicators, and financial or operational outcomes tied to each initiative
- Use analysis to support decision making, pressure-test assumptions, and help leaders focus on the highest-value actions
- Work effectively with imperfect or incomplete data, combining available facts, sound judgment, and stakeholder input to move decisions forward

- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, operations, analytics, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in management consulting, transformation, strategy, operations, program management, or a similar cross-functional role
- Experience leading complex initiatives across multiple functions in a matrixed organization
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down ambiguity and develop practical, high-impact solutions
- Strong program leadership skills, including planning, dependency management, risk management, and executive communication
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to drive decisions, identify issues, and track outcomes
- Comfort synthesizing multiple inputs, including incomplete or imperfect data, to form clear recommendations and next steps
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority
- High ownership, strong judgment, and comfort operating with limited direction
- Experience in a top-tier consulting firm, transformation office, corporate strategy team, or internal consulting role
- Experience in medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry
- Experience supporting business transformation, separation readiness, commercial execution, process redesign, or AI/digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Power BI, Salesforce, SAP, Databricks, JIRA, or equivalent enterprise systems
- Experience defining KPIs, business cases, governance mechanisms, and executive reporting structures
- Exposure to change management, process improvement, continuous improvement methodologies, or AI-enabled process redesign
