Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for implementing maintenance management strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- Oversee HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime in production.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in diagnosing issues and implementing solutions.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or installations, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory management.
- Foster a culture of safety by adhering to safety protocols and conducting training sessions for staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and facilities management principles.
- Experience with project management methodologies to effectively lead maintenance projects.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues.
