Reports to: Operations Manager
Description: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and supervising a team of 1-5 maintenance personnel. This role includes coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and supporting operational efficiency at chemical distribution facility in New Haven, CT.
To fulfill these responsibilities, the Maintenance Supervisor is empowered to manage work priority, engage the proper resources to develop and implement equipment, process, and administrative standards, identify training opportunities throughout the plant, and recommend asset selection criteria and installation standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will monitor department performance relative to safety, environment, reliability, quality, efficiency, and cost control to continually improve performance.

- Ensure all policies, guidelines and standards are practiced and enforced

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent safety standards
- Strong knowledge and experience with CMMS, PM Optimization, and RCFA Methodologies
- Strong background with Maintenance Management Best Practices such as TPM/TPR
- BS in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred but not required for qualified candidates
- Chemical manufacturing facility experience

- 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
- Respirator Fit Test

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in maintenance
- Experience working in a corrosive environment
- Experience working in a PSM and RMP facility
- Experience in applying industry RAGAGEPs – Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (API, NACE, ISA, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, etc.)

Travel Requirements: Occasional overnight for training purposes
Shift: Scheduled hours are M-F 7am – 4:00 pm, also includes on call for Operations emergencies
