Pediatric Dental Assistant – Part-Time
Location: Oviedo, FL
Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Our friendly and growing pediatric dental practice in Oviedo is looking for a caring, dependable Dental Assistant to join our team! If you love working with children and families in a positive, upbeat environment, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take dental X-rays
- Help children feel comfortable and at ease during visits
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Qualifications:
- 2- 5 years of dental assisting experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus!)
- Required: EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental) certification
- Required: X-ray certification
- Preferred but not required: Nitrous Oxide Monitoring
- Friendly, patient, and great with kids
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience using dental software – Curve Dental experience preffered
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
