Join our vibrant dessert café team as a Cashier/Barista, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our customers! In this dynamic role, you’ll be the friendly face that greets guests, takes orders, and prepares delicious beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and excellent customer service skills will ensure smooth transactions and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether crafting specialty coffees or handling cash with precision, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service that keeps customers coming back.
Training will be paid.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders for beverages, food, and retail items using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and light food items in accordance with quality standards.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handle cash handling tasks, process payments accurately, and give correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
- Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality service.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- 16 or older
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
