PREPARATION

Please prepare two contrasting monologues no longer than 90 seconds each. You may also prepare no more than one song of your choice. An accompanist will be provided.

Richard, 50-65, male presenting, Recently blinded. A disheveled, fetid old rogue. Irascible, childish and demanding but with a whiff of Irish charm.

Ivan, 40-55, male presenting, An innocent, but full of anxiety. A hard drinker who suffers from the after effects of his imbibing.

Nicky, 35-50, male presenting, Confident cocky, always on the up and on the lookout. Thinks he’s much better than he is.

Mr. Lockhart, 50-60, male presenting, A different class to the other men and something of a mystery to them. Sophisticated in comparison, he is possessed of a dark and dangerous edge.
