Mineral Wells ISD is looking to hire a highly qualified person for the position of assistant band director/ percussion specialist. Mineral Wells ISD is located in Mineral Wells, TX and is an hour west of Ft. Worth. Mineral Wells is a growing 4A/2C program with outstanding support from administration, parents and the community.
This position will oversee all percussion activities for grades 6-12 including the HS marching band, concert bands at the high school and junior high, and 6th grade beginners. Directing a concert band will be added as the program continues to grow. The candidate should exhibit strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills and have knowledge of state and UIL policies governing band.
