We are seeking a skilled and reliable Garage Door Technician to join our team. The Garage Door Technician will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery on residential and commercial projects, adhering to safety standards, and providing excellent customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of garage doors and openers in residential and commercial settings
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete projects efficiently
- Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and installation of large components
- Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to garage door systems and general construction practices
- Ability to perform door hanging, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, frame carpentry
- Experience in construction site environments with knowledge of safety procedures
- Maintenance Person experience with a focus on garage door system troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work effectively in physically demanding situations
