Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer (CDP / Identity Resolution)

Location: Memphis, TN (Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 18 Months Extensions (Long-term contract or can go permanent)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary

This role focuses on building and maintaining a unified customer data platform using Salesforce Data Cloud. The position will design and implement scalable identity resolution pipelines that enable marketing and business teams to activate high-quality customer profiles across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, customer data platforms (CDP), and modern data engineering practices, along with deep SQL expertise and experience building identity resolution and segmentation pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Salesforce Data Cloud pipelines, including Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), and Calculated Insights to support a scalable customer profile platform.
• Build and optimize audience segmentation and activation pipelines to Marketing Cloud, advertising platforms, Sales/Service systems, and commerce platforms.
• Define and implement identity resolution strategies using deterministic and probabilistic matching to create accurate golden records and improve profile completeness.
• Implement data governance and consent modeling, ensuring privacy compliance across ingestion, identity resolution, and activation processes.
• Partner with marketing, product, and CRM teams to translate business use cases into Data Cloud data models, insights, and event-driven activation workflows.
• Establish CI/CD processes, automated data quality checks, monitoring, data lineage, and SLA reporting for ingestion and activation pipelines.
• Collaborate with data platform teams to integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with analytics and machine learning environments such as Amazon Redshift and Databricks.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in data engineering, CRM platforms, or Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
• 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or a similar CDP platform.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with:
• Data Model Objects (DMOs)
• Data Graphs
• Calculated Insights
• Segmentation and activation workflows
• Experience activating customer data across Marketing Cloud, advertising platforms, and Sales/Service systems.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming technologies (Kafka or Kinesis), APIs, and Git-based CI/CD workflows.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, consent management, and PII/PHI protection practices.

• Experience with Python or dbt
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools
• Experience with Reverse ETL pipelines
• Experience with data warehouse platforms such as Amazon Redshift
• Experience with Einstein Studio, ML operationalization, or Copado
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, SQL
