· Ability to work in the chart room of an active psychiatric unit.
· Reviews the entire paper chart and codes diseases, operations, and special treatment according to ICD-10 CM standard nomenclature and classification systems for services covered under Medicare Part- B.
· Ability to review and code for services covered under Medicare Part- B in an application.
· Enter codes into a billing application.
· Reviews error reports and makes correction as needed.
· Provides a daily productivity report.
· Provide a monthly report summarizing above cited and detailing quality of documentation for each physician with recommendation.
