About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers’ compensation law—either on the applicant or defense side—and a proven ability to manage cases independently from intake through resolution. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a supportive, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of workers’ compensation cases, including client communication, discovery, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients at depositions, mediations, and court appearances as needed.
- Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar license in [insert applicable state(s)].
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing workers’ compensation law (applicant or defense).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
