Responsibilities

- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a conducive learning environment.
- Provide instruction in physical education, ensuring students understand the importance of health and fitness.
- Support students with developmental disabilities through tailored teaching strategies.
- Foster positive behavior management practices to encourage student engagement and participation.
- Mentor students, providing guidance and support in their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and lesson planning to enhance educational offerings.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods as necessary.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly in special education or related fields.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
- Skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
- Experience or training in teaching physical education is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
- Strong mentoring abilities to guide students effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
