Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to join our faculty and contribute to the education of future healthcare professionals. As a faculty member, you will facilitate learning in the classroom, ensuring students meet course, program, and institutional learning outcomes. You will work closely with the Academic Dean, Program Director, and Division Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans for assigned courses
- Create and maintain course syllabi, and communicate course requirements to students
- Grade assignments and record student interactions in Campus Nexus within 48 hours
- Adhere to programmatic accreditation standards
- Supervise student conduct in the classroom and during school events
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active California RN License and BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience in the relevant nursing area within the past 5 years
- Or, 1 academic year of clinical teaching experience at the RN level
- Experience teaching registered nursing courses, or completion of post-baccalaureate teaching courses
Pay: $102,000.00 - $131,040.00 per year
