Position Summary

The Associate Dean of Nursing provides strategic leadership and administrative oversight for the BSN, ASN, and LPN programs. This role ensures academic quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while fostering excellence in teaching, learning, and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all nursing programs (BSN, ASN, LPN) to achieve academic and accreditation standards.
• Supervise program coordinators and faculty; promote professional development and collaboration.
• Oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and performance outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in curriculum design, student success, and faculty engagement.
• Collaborate with institutional leadership to advance the mission and goals of the School of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing.
• Active RN license (or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee).
• Progressive academic leadership experience as a Dean, Associate Dean, or Program Director of Nursing.
• Demonstrated success managing large programs, budgets, and diverse student populations.
• Strong understanding of accreditation, compliance, and curriculum standards in nursing education.
