Project Manager -- Healthcare Payer Data Migration
Location: NYC area preferred
Work from Office- at least 3 Days work from Office in NYC

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major data migration initiative for a Healthcare client within the payor industry. The PM will oversee day‑to‑day coordination across internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth execution of multi‑stream data extraction, file transfers, and platform migration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle project management using Waterfall methodology
- Manage daily project activities, dependencies, risks, and communications
- Coordinate with data, engineering, QA, operations, and external vendors
- Oversee data-related workstreams: extraction, mapping, validation, and transfers
- Maintain project governance: plans, RAID logs, reporting, change control
- Utilize tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar platforms
Experience
- Healthcare payer or claims operations (nice to have, not required)
- Familiarity with Snowflake, MuleSoft, Salesforce, and AWS (beneficial)
- Exposure to Six Sigma (nice to have) and PMO process improvements
