Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position as a Medical Assistant at our Rome, GA clinic. The Medical Assistant will support healthcare professionals through patient care, maintaining medical records, assisting in medical procedures, scheduling, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. Tasks include preparing patients for examinations, managing clinical supplies, and leveraging medical terminology knowledge to provide comprehensive assistance to practitioners and patients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including handling clinical tasks and supporting patient procedures
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and its practical application in medical environments
- Experience in Medical Office management, including scheduling, organization, and administrative tasks
- Demonstrated skills in Patient Care, ensuring comfort and professionalism during interactions
- Familiarity with Medical Records management, including accurate documentation and patient confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in medical tasks
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred
