Position Summary
Minds in Progress is a growing child and adolescent psychology practice seeking an evaluations clinician to support psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment services. The ideal candidate brings experience administering and/or interpreting a broad battery of standardized assessments with children, adolescents, and young adults. This role is central to our evaluation pipeline and offers flexibility in structure depending on licensure level and experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Administer, score, and (where licensed) interpret standardized psychoeducational and neuropsychological batteries (e.g., WISC-V, WJ IV/V, KTEA-3, BASC-3, Conners, CELF, Beery VMI, NEPSY, ADOS)
- Conduct clinical interviews and behavioral observations as part of the evaluation process
- Collaborate with supervising psychologist on case conceptualization, diagnosis, and report writing
- Participate in feedback sessions with families (licensed candidates)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in SimplePractice EHR
- Coordinate with schools, pediatricians, and other referral sources as needed
- Support IEE (Independent Educational Evaluation) documentation when applicable
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in psychology, school psychology, educational psychology, or related field
- Hands-on experience administering standardized cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Familiarity with ADHD, ASD,[1] and learning disability evaluation frameworks
- Strong written communication skills; ability to produce or contribute to clear, family-friendly reports
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal day-to-day oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed or license-eligible in Missouri (LPC, LPC-Provisional, licensed psychologist, or school psychologist credential)
- Experience with autism spectrum evaluations; ADOS-2 training a significant plus
- School-based assessment experience (school psychology internship, fellowship, or employed position)
- Familiarity with IEE process and IDEA eligibility criteria
- Experience with PSYPACT telehealth delivery
- Proficiency with SimplePractice or comparable EHR
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
