Position Title: School-Age Teacher

Position Summary:
The School-Age Teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate educational and recreational activities for children ages 5-12 in an MSDE-regulated school-age program. The teacher creates a safe, engaging environment that supports children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
Qualifications:
- Must meet Maryland State Department of Education school-age teacher requirements.
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in early childhood education, child development, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with school-age children.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
- Successful completion of required background checks.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise children during before-school, after-school, and summer programs.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with families and staff.
- Ensure compliance with MSDE regulations and program policies.
