Job Title: Senior Retail Experience Designer – Story Design
Location: Beaverton, OR (4-day onsite/ 1-day remote)

Description:
A global athletic brand is seeking a Senior Design Expert for Retail Experience Design to support and develop experience creative direction for the Global Direct retail ecosystem, with online-to-offline connection. In this role, you will develop impactful, scalable creative solutions for immersive retail experiences and how these manifest as worlds. You will lead a design process of clear ideation focusing on strategy and exploration of architecture, environments, materiality, and use of the environment. You will direct the development of presentation materials that effectively communicate creative direction and design concepts to leadership and partners. You will collaborate with internal and external design teams to complete multiple projects and ensure creative intent, design results, timelines, and budgets are met.

Requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive, technically sophisticated design experience in architectural, experiential, or brand design
- Demonstrated ability to apply design skills in ways that elevate brand excellence
- Proven track record of managing a design project or studio in delivering progressively complex projects of scale, budget, and size
- Proven track record of motivating teams, managing ambiguity, and effectively collaborating in decision-making
- Expert in applying and performing design skills, including concepting, drawing/sketching, architecture, ideation, color theory, materials, texture, and spatial design in scale, visual presentation development, and space planning layouts
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to current trends in color, design, art, photography, and experience design and their application to the athletic industry
- Expert oral and written communication and presentation skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations to senior management
- Ability to work cooperatively across streams and territories to share ideas and develop effective responses
- Proven ability to work in a constantly evolving, high-growth environment
- Positivity and eagerness to do great work in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands, and changes
- Demonstrated expertise using computer design applications including Keynote, Miro, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, V-Ray, AR/VR, and Adobe Creative Suite

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Industrial Design, Environmental Design, or a related field
- Or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training
- 10 years of relevant design experience
