Job Title: Medical Technologist

Duration: 6 months (possible extension/conversion)

Shift: Various Shift available.

Location: Birmingham, AL 35235 USA

Generalist Core Lab, Chem, hem, urine, coag, run instruments, QC, maintenance. Blood bank experience would be a big plus

1 – Is this for and Medical Lab Technician [2 year MLT degree] or Medical Lab Scientist /

Medical Technologist [4 year BS] or are you open to either? MLS or MLT

2- Please confirm if ASCP or AMT certification is required. [If required, are you open to eligible

/registered candidates?] not a requirement

3- Are you seeking a generalist [proficient in testing in all Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis,

Coagulation] or are you seeking a Micro Lab worker with Molecular background? Generalist

4- What department will this technical position support? [Micro lab, Core lab, DNA sequence,

etc.] Core lab

5- Is Blood Bank experience required for this role? Big plus if they have experience

6- Any particular LIS [Lab Information System] experience you would like to see on resumes?

[Millenium, Cerner, Epic etc.] Cerner PathNet

7- Please confirm if color vision screening is required? Yes,

Vaccine requirements: Hep B offered- declination accepted. Flu but can accept declination
