Title: AEM Content Author
Location: Charlotte, NC (5 days on-site)
Duration: 6 months, potential for extension
We are seeking a Digital Content Producer / AEM Author to build, edit, and publish high-quality web experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites). In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute digital campaigns, manage content updates, and ensure all pages meet strict brand, UX, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Content Authoring & Execution
- Build & Publish: Create, edit, and launch web pages and landing pages using AEM templates, components, and content fragments.
- Site Optimization: Configure page properties, metadata, tags, proper linking structures, and SEO elements.
- Workflow Management: Manage content updates, publishing schedules, version control, and multi-channel campaign delivery timelines.
Collaboration & QA
- Cross-Functional Partnering: Work closely with UX, Creative, MarTech, and Legal teams to align digital experiences with business goals.
- Rigorous Quality Assurance: Perform thorough QA across various browsers and mobile devices to troubleshoot layout, rendering, or responsiveness issues.
- Governance & Standards: Ensure all content adheres to accessibility (WCAG), privacy, and strict regulatory compliance guidelines.
Position Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years of experience in digital content authoring or web content management.
- Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience building and publishing pages within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites).
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple content requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Mindset: Extreme attention to detail with a rigorous focus on QA, accuracy, and process consistency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Background in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting; experience with project management tools like Workfront or Rally.
- Adobe Ecosystem: Familiarity with Target, Analytics, or Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including personalization and localization execution.
- Best Practices: Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and Agile delivery frameworks.
