Job Details:
Title: DBA Administrator (MongoDB)
Location: Buffalo, NY (4 Days Onsite, 1 Day remote)
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension)
Job Description:
Seeking a MongoDB DBA to support the cloud migration of the IXR application. The role is 75% MongoDB administration and 25% Java/Spring Boot development support.
Required Skills:
- 8 years of DBA experience
- 5 years of MongoDB administration
- Strong experience with MongoDB Atlas, replica sets, sharding, performance tuning, backup/recovery, HA/DR, security, and capacity planning
- Production support experience
Nice to Have:
- Java, Spring Boot
- CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Azure or AWS cloud experience
- Banking/financial services background (preferred, not required)
