What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Governance analyst position at Mindlance?
We are seeking a Senior Privacy & Data Governance Manager to lead enterprise-wide privacy and data governance initiatives within a regulated banking/financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Privacy & Data Governance policies, standards, and frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with GLBA, CPRA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM regulations.
- Embed Privacy-by-Design and Data Governance-by-Design principles across business processes and technology solutions.
- Create governance roadmaps, metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Business, and Technology teams to drive governance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Privacy and/or Data Governance experience.
- Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with GLBA, CPRA/CCPA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
- Experience developing privacy policies, governance standards, and enterprise frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience implementing Data Governance programs and roadmaps.
- Knowledge of governance tools such as OneTrust, Collibra, or Informatica.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve governance and compliance processes.
