What are the responsibilities and job description for the Atlassian Trainer position at Mindlance?
Position: Atlassian Jira/Confluence Cloud Trainer
Contract: Initial 3 months, with potential extension up to 6 months depending on project progress.
Location:
- On-site in Minneapolis is preferred per organizational policy.
- Some flexibility may be possible, but remote-only is not possible at all.
Objective:
To design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training and enablement for administrators and end-users as the organization migrates from Atlassian Data Center (on-prem) to Atlassian Cloud.
Candidate Profile & Requirements:
- Experience:
- Strong administrative expertise in Jira and Confluence Cloud.
- Deep understanding of differences between on-prem and cloud environments.
- Technical migration experience not required, but understanding of nuances is preferred.
- Prior experience in training delivery, enablement, and instructional design is essential.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating training decks, job aids, and workshops.
- Familiarity with Atlassian best practices and Cloud configuration.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for large user groups.
- Certifications:
- Jira or Confluence certifications are preferred but not required.
- Hands-on experience and demonstrated expertise are more valued.
