Position Purpose
Perform simple to moderately complex analytical laboratory testing in a GMP environment using scientific education and analytical chemistry experience. Interpret analytical data to determine conformance with specifications and support API, Raw Material, In-Process, and Drug Product testing laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform and verify trained laboratory techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve analytical and instrument issues.
- Identify and implement laboratory process improvements.
- Manage time effectively while completing multiple assignments.
- Identify and resolve obstacles affecting testing and product release.
- Take ownership of special projects supporting laboratory operations.
- Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members to support timely product release.
- Support regulatory agency audits as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
- 3 years of laboratory experience
- Ability to work with general supervision and independently manage time and priorities.
- Ability to multitask based on completed training and qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- GMP experience strongly preferred.
