Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP-BC)

Mindify Wellness and Care is hiring multiple New Jersey-licensed PMHNP-BCs to provide psychiatric services through telehealth and at our partner adult day centers.

We currently need providers in:

• Asbury Park
• Newark
• East Orange
• Elizabeth

Providers may select one or more locations based on their availability. We are open to working with providers who can commit to a single center as well as those interested in covering multiple locations.

Our partner adult day centers generally operate Monday through Friday. Typical hours are 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., although schedules may vary or change by center.

Onsite coverage is generally needed one to three days per week, depending on each center’s needs and the provider’s schedule. Telehealth visits may be scheduled on additional days.

• Initial psychiatric evaluations: $70–$90 per visit
• Follow-up medication-management visits: $45–$60 per visit

Rates are based on experience, credentials, qualifications, and clinical expertise.

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Diagnose behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Develop and update treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and side effects
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with therapists, social workers, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis evaluations when clinically appropriate
• Follow HIPAA requirements, clinical standards, and organizational policies

• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New Jersey RN license
• Active New Jersey APRN license
• Current PMHNP-BC certification
• Active DEA registration with prescriptive authority
• Availability to provide onsite care at one or more partner locations

Experience in outpatient behavioral health, telehealth, adult day centers, or working with diverse populations is preferred. Bilingual providers are encouraged to apply.

These positions are 1099 independent contractor roles. Mindify provides patient referrals and administrative support with scheduling and patient coordination. We also provide malpractice insurance coverage and a collaborative agreement for services delivered to Mindify patients. This coverage and agreement apply only while the provider is actively contracted with Mindify and do not extend to patients seen through the provider’s private practice or any other organization

Part-time or full-time W-2 opportunities may become available in the future based on organizational needs and mutual interest.

We are currently interviewing multiple providers for onsite coverage in Asbury Park, Newark, East Orange, and Elizabeth.
