What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) position at MindHealth Psychiatry?
MindHealth Psychiatry is a family-run psychiatric practice serving patients via telehealth. We're a small, close-knit team that prioritizes thoughtful patient care over volume and we extend that same philosophy to how we treat our providers. No corporate bureaucracy, no productivity quotas that compromise care, and direct access to practice leadership.
The Role
We're looking for a licensed PMHNP to join our team providing outpatient psychiatric care via telehealth. This is generally a low-acuity caseload: engaged patients seeking medication management, psychotherapy, and ongoing psychiatric support. You'll practice from wherever you're comfortable, with full administrative, billing, and scheduling support handled by our operations team so you can focus entirely on patient care.
We do not see Medicaid patients. We only see patients with commercial insurance, Medicare, or self-pay.
Schedule: Start at 10–20 hours per week. Expectation of 17 patient contact hours per week during the first year. Contracting and credentialing will take approximately 5 months, with a tentative start date in January.
