Role Overview
The ISO Manager will recruit, onboard, and manage ISOs and brokerage partners who originate Merchant Cash Advances. You’ll be the primary point of contact for partners, drive partner performance, ensure application quality and compliance, and collaborate with operations, underwriting, and sales to accelerate funded volume and reduce fallout.
Key responsibilities
Recruit and onboard new ISOs and broker partners; conduct outreach, demos, and contract negotiation.
Serve as the main day-to-day relationship manager for assigned ISOs — provide training, support, and escalation handling.
Monitor ISO dealflow, quality metrics, conversion rates, and KPI performance; produce weekly/monthly partner reports.
Audit partner submissions for accuracy and compliance; coordinate documentation and remediation for verification issues.
Work with underwriting and operations to decrease time-to-fund and reduce fallout from incomplete or low-quality submissions.
Create and maintain partner playbooks, SOPs, and onboarding materials; lead partner training sessions and webinars.
Execute compensation/residual programs, commission reconciliations, and disputes.
Identify top-performing partners and scale best practices across the channel.
Provide market feedback and product suggestions to internal teams based on partner conversations.
Ensure partners comply with company policies, fair-lending practices and any applicable regulations.
Required qualifications
3 years experience in MCA, merchant services, payments, or business lending environment (ISO-facing roles preferred).
Demonstrated experience managing channel partners or sales agents (ISOs/brokers).
Strong understanding of MCA deal structure, underwriting basics, and merchant processing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Data-driven mindset — comfortable with partner KPIs, CRMs, and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to travel occasionally for partner meetings or industry events.
Preferred
Prior experience running partner/onboarding programs and commission structures.
Familiarity with compliance issues in alternative finance and payments (KYC/AML basics).
Experience with CRM or partner portal administration.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
