Mindful Communication Group (MCG) — a therapist-owned multidisciplinary practice — is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a partnering school district in Danville, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who values clinical autonomy, a supportive team culture, and making a meaningful impact in the school setting.
Therapy & Evaluation
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide direct services to students with IEPs
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to student needs
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work collaboratively with school teams to coordinate therapy schedules
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with state and district standards
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Professional Growth
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities
- Active Virginia SLP License (Required)
- Prior school-based experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to assigned school sites
