Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical interviews to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) tailored to individual client goals.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on mental health counseling, crisis intervention, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and social work support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate medical documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Engage in case management activities including patient assessment, community outreach, home visits, and connecting clients with additional resources such as special education or Geriatrics services.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives by collecting data, maintaining detailed medical records, and supporting studies related to behavioral health and developmental disabilities.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, or other neurological conditions while applying appropriate diagnostic coding such as ICD-10 or CPT coding.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an LSW/LCSW or LPC/LCPC with current certification from an accredited licensing board.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, child & family counseling, working with children or individuals with disabilities in home or community settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, mental health diagnoses, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), and familiarity with HIPAA compliance for medical records management.
- Experience utilizing EMR systems for documentation and data collection; familiarity with CPT coding is a plus.
- Excellent skills in crisis management, diagnostic evaluation, group therapy facilitation, and applied behavioral analysis techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated competency in motivational interviewing, social work practices, behavioral health interventions, and psychopharmacology knowledge is preferred. Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
