Your day as a Radiology Tech
As a new Radiology Tech at Minden Medical Center, you can expect a fulfilling day filled with patient interactions and technical responsibilities. Your schedule will typically be from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing you to maintain a consistent work-life balance. Daily tasks will include preparing patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort while explaining the process, and operating advanced radiology equipment.
You will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to accurately capture images, while following strict protocols to maintain safety and quality standards. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and equipment, and participating in continuous learning to stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology technology. A current Louisiana Radiology license is essential, along with relevant experience in the field, ideally complemented by ARRT certification.
