Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and troubleshoot a laser
- Read prints, work orders or production schedules
- Use tools to ensure efficiency and correct operation of the machine
- Use laser cutting and punching machines that make metal shapes and holes to fit other parts
- Ensure production of all parts meet OI quality standards by utilizing internal quality processes and SOP.
- Assist with material breakout and movement of parts to next production area when assigned
- Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools
- Have good math ability and problem-solving skills
- Read and interpret blueprints efficiently
- Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrate safety in the laser operation process.
