Fulfillment Package Handler
We are currently hiring a Fulfillment Package Handler for a well-established distribution partner. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys active, hands-on work, staying organized in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and being part of a dependable team.
Hours and Wages
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Up to 5 hours of overtime may be expected weekly (paid at time and a half after 40 hours)
- $18.00 per hour, based on experience
What You'll Do
- Load, unload, and move palletized freight by hand and using manual and power pallet jacks.
- Sort and un-palletize freight by product type and destination.
- Scan barcode labels accurately for tracking and billing.
- Stack and wrap freight securely to prevent damage and maximize space.
- Assist with picking product according to customer orders.
- Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions to management.
- Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse through light custodial tasks.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Comfortable reading and scanning labels quickly and working independently.
- Strong organizationmskills.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Able to stand, bend, twist, and carry freight for a full shift (minimum 8 hours on your feet).
- Comfortable handling a variety of freight types, including hazardous materials, perishable goods, and other regulated items.
