CEO Role who is an ENTREPRENEUR

A dementia-focused social engineering venture is looking for a founding CEO to build an enterprise from the ground up. This isn't a polished corporate role — it's a rare opportunity to take real ownership (equity included) in a start-up working to harness one of the most urgent public health challenges of our time; the Dementia pandemic due to the global rise of dementia.

You'll be the one setting the direction, running the business, and making it work.

What you'll do

- Lead all business functions — strategy, operations, partnerships, finance, and team-building.- Own and operate the company website: content, updates, user experience, and ongoing development coordination.- Build the go-to-market strategy and drive early adoption.- Identify and cultivate relationships with partners, funders, researchers, and community organizations.- Represent the company publicly — with investors, media, and the communities we serve.- Make hard calls early and often; this is a roll-up-your-sleeves environment.

About you

- Proven experience leading or co-founding a business or organization, ideally an early-stage venture.- Comfortable owning a P&L and managing across multiple business functions simultaneously.- Experience managing or overseeing a website (CMS, basic web ops, coordinating with developers).- Genuine interest in healthcare, aging, public health, or social impact — this matters.- Strong communicator and relationship builder.- Comfortable with ambiguity, resource constraints, and building structure where none exists.

Nice to have

- Background in dementia care, neuroscience, or gerontology.- Experience raising early-stage funding (grants, angel, impact investors).- Network in the health-tech or social enterprise space.

Our business model is B to B. potential clients include Health and Long Term insurance companies, employers, government entities and social service organizations.
