Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong background in mental health and substance use treatment. The ideal candidate is confident, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
This is not an entry-level role—you should be comfortable managing complex cases independently while working within a team-based care model.
What You’ll Do
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and manage mental health and substance use disorders
- Provide medication management, including MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
- Provide care via both in-person and telehealth settings
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams
- Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives
- Provide TMS and Spravato treatment for patients. Willing to teach but preferred to have.
- Precept students and contribute to clinical education (optional but valued)
What You Bring
- Active PMHNP license and Board Certification (PMHNP-BC)
- Minimum 3 years of psychiatric clinical experience
- Experience with substance use disorders and MAT
- DATA 2000 Waiver (X-waiver) or willingness to obtain
- DEA license and prescriptive authority
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
- Comfort with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
Bonus If You Have
- Experience in community mental health or integrated care
- Leadership or clinical lead experience
- Crisis stabilization or acute care background

Salary : $135,000 - $155,000
