Rewarding position available, working with children and adults to improve their visual skills through Vision Therapy. This is an APPRENTICESHIP!
- We teach patients to overcome vision challenges that interfere with academics, athletics and other activities of daily living.
- Degree in teaching, psychology, therapy or child development preferred, but not mandatory.

Job Description:
- Work directly with children (and some adults).
- Support and monitor patients conducting vision therapy activities in-office.
--- Note: Therapy programs are created and overseen by experienced providers.--- Primary role is to assist the patient and the practice in carrying out care.--- This is an apprenticeship opportunity: Begin as a Vision Therapy Assistant, and train to become a Vision Therapist.
- Learn to guide and train patients in hands-on activities.
- Learn about the visual process.

Part-time position available, full-time option, negotiable hours for the right candidate.
Must be available at least 3 days/week, including Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, between 11am-6:30pm.
Additional days/hours on : Office closed Thursday. Occasional Saturday hours.
Lower Westchester County, NY. Benefits available with full time employment; vision care services available to all employees. Starting compensation $16.50-$21/hour, experience dependent.
