Role Description
This is a opportunity to work as a full or part-time Therapist, based in Pembroke Pines, FL. We are currently looking for therapists who can work a hybrid role of in person and telehealth. The Therapist will work with a diverse group of clients to provide evidence-based counseling services focused on a holistic and trauma-informed care approach. Day-to-day tasks include conducting individual, group, or family therapy sessions, developing personalized treatment plans, documenting client progress, and collaborating with a team of mental health professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Strong knowledge and experience with trauma-focused and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Ability to develop and implement tailored treatment plans
- Skills in active listening, empathy, communication, and maintaining professional boundaries
- Experience with clinical documentation and record-keeping
- Master's degree (or higher) in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Preferred: Licensure in the state of Florida (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Preferred: Training in trauma treatment techniques, such as EMDR,Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), TF CBT, DBT
