Overview
Mind-Body Care is a large group practice in Mountain View and Palo Alto, serving the cities of Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Mountain View and San Jose as well providing tele sessions to clients in California. We are currently expanding to meet the growing needs of the communities we serve. We have openings for associate marriage and family therapists and psychological associate/postdoc fellow to provide mental health services such as outpatient psychotherapy (children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families), psychological assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration of care . We are looking to hire part time (15 clients/week) licensed and pre-licensed clinicians . Our practice is both private pay and paneled with major insurance companies in the Bay Area.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate is someone who....
- has successfully completed masters or Ph.D. or Psy.D.
- has a strong foundation in evidence-based therapy preferably CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, etc.
- experience working with children and adolescents (required)
- experience working with eating disorders, OCD, or body dysmorphic disorder (preferred)
- understands the HIPAA requirements for mental health records and maintains appropriate documentation
- has good organizational and time management skills
- able to use EHR for scheduling and progress notes
