Position Summary
MBAS Counseling is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) to join our team in West Babylon, NY. This is a full-time hybrid position providing therapy to children, adults, and couples in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You'll have the opportunity to provide both in-person and virtual sessions, working with a diverse client base and benefiting from a team culture focused on growth, connection, and evidence-based care.

Preferred Schedule
- Schedule: We are looking for someone who is available Fri, Sat and Sun to work in our West Babylon office.
- Hybrid: 3-4 days in-person at our West Babylon office and 1 day virtual
- Hours: 30-40 hours per week
- Evenings: Availability required for evening sessions, with in-person and virtual hours until 9 PM
- Weekends: One weekend day of availability

Qualifications
- Licensed as an LMHC or MHC-LP in New York State
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a mental health setting
- Experience providing therapy to children
- Experience working with couples is highly preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable with hybrid (virtual/in-person) therapy scheduling and telehealth platforms
Compensation
- MHC-LP: $40 per session
- LMHC: $47 per session
- Full-time hours and pay rates are fixed (not flexible)
Base Pay: $40.00 - $47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
