MBAS Counseling is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) to join our team in a fully remote, full-time role.
This position provides virtual therapy to children, adults, and couples in a supportive and collaborative environment. Candidates must be licensed or permitted in New York State and comfortable providing telehealth sessions to clients located in NY.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base while benefiting from a team culture focused on growth, connection, and evidence-based care.
Schedule:
- Fully remote / telehealth
- Full-time position
- Minimum 30 hours per week
- Goal of 35–40 hours per week
- Evening availability required on weekdays (3pm - 9pm)
- Weekend availability preferred, if possible
Location:
Fully remote.
Candidates must be licensed or permitted to practice in New York State and must be able to provide telehealth services to clients in NY.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as an LMHC or MHC-LP in New York State
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a mental health setting
- Experience working with couples is highly preferred
- Experience providing therapy to children and adults
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable providing virtual therapy through telehealth platforms
- Strong documentation and time-management skills in a remote setting
Compensation:
- MHC-LP: $40 per session
- LMHC: $47 per session, willing to supervise
- Full-time hours and pay rates are fixed and not flexible
Base Pay: $40.00 - $47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30–40 per week
